Energy Efficiency
Historic Retrofits and New Fixtures
As our fixtures are built to order, we are able to offer the full range of energy-efficient lamping options. We will work with you to select the lamp technology that is most appropriate to your fixture and application.
Our Witnessed Manufacturer's Testing Laboratory and advanced photometric modeling capabilities ensure that you will get the most appropriate energy saving technology available.
We have an extensive background in restoring and upgrading historic fixtures to meet tighter energy regulations.
Fluorescent - The most common energy efficient alternative for indoor decorative lighting, fluorescent lamping offers a range of color temperatures, good color rendering, long life, and dimming for some lamp types. There are many lamp shapes and sizes from which to choose.
Metal Halide - An efficient source of white light, pulse start metal halide lamping is often chosen for high output and exterior applications.
Induction - Also called electrodeless lamping, this under-utilized technology demonstrates an exceptional lamp life, low lumen depreciation, and good color.
LED - Crenshaw Lighting is pleased to announce a new line of high performance LED lamping assemblies available for our standard and custom products. Read more about Crenshaw LED here.
Additionally, our in-house certified testing lab regularly tests and lists custom LED assemblies.
