Two recent projects that we had the pleasure to be a part of were awarded 2020 Palladio Awards. The Dickies Arena (David M. Schwarz Architects Inc.) in Fort Worth, TX won for New Design & Construction—more than 30,000 square feet, while the Cincinnati Union Terminal (John G. Waite Associates, Architects and GBBN) won for Restoration and Renovation.

Both projects featured Art Deco design elements, however the fixtures manufactured for the Dickies Arena were all newly designed. We created over 300 custom integral LED sconces and pendants for the new multi-purpose arena, collaborating with the designers at Lam Partners and architects at David M. Schwarz Architects. The Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal project has been described as “a unique combination of architecture, fine arts, and engineering.” This once bustling train station has been transformed into a multi-museum complex and cultural institution. In total, we restored and reproduced nearly 700 fixtures for this historic project. Check out the project page for more details

Produced by Traditional Building, Period Homes and the Traditional Building Conference, the annual Palladio Awards honor outstanding achievement in traditional design.
