Seaside Park - Kitchen 21
custom lighting - award winning project
seaside park - kitchen 21
Crenshaw Lighting partnered with EwingCole to illuminate the iconic Seaside Park, originally built in 1923 as a historic home to the famed Childs Restaurants, now reimagined as Kitchen 21—a vibrant five-in-one restaurant within this designated New York City landmark, revitalized under EwingCole’s visionary redesign to reflect Brooklyn’s dynamic culture while honoring its original architecture. Our custom Globe Pendants and Ring Chandeliers seamlessly blend heritage with modernity, featuring solid brass construction with decorative metal banding and an aged brass finish for the pendants, integrated with LED lamping, alongside faux bronze ring chandeliers designed with medium-base LED-equivalent lamping to echo the space’s historic lighting style. Spearheaded by the New York City Economic Development Corporation as part of Coney Island’s broader redevelopment, Crenshaw Lighting takes pride in contributing to this transformative project, enhancing its timeless elegance.
