High-end materials and custom finishes and patterns required a qualified custom lighting manufacturer such as Crenshaw.

Rottet Studio approached Crenshaw to create a series of custom light fixtures for the St. Regis Aspen Resort renovation in 2011. The award-winning architect designed the decorative lighting to highlight the resort’s luxury brand image. The lighting would use high-end materials and custom finishes and patterns that required a qualified custom lighting manufacturer such as Crenshaw.

The interior fixtures included statement chandeliers, pendants and sconces in an Antique Pewter patina finish on solid brass. In some cases a dark Antique Bronze finish was incorporated to contrast with the Antique Pewter finishes. The grand stairway features a chandelier with a custom raised relief banding and stainless steel chainmail mesh panels lit by halogen downlights. A series of drum pendants hanging in the lobby and common areas also incorporate a raised relief decorative banding, multiple tiers, and in some areas these pendants are draped with crystal droplets suspended in organic arrays throughout the tiers.

The exterior fixtures included open lantern chandeliers and sconces.
