The Palladium at the Center for Performing Arts

Susan Brady Lighting Design and David M. Schwarz Architects designed a complete family of pendants, sconces, and ceiling fixtures for the Palladium’s main concert hall and lobby areas. The fixtures were constructed of high-quality extruded, machined, and fabricated aluminum and were finished in a custom dark bronze painted finish. The lenses shared throughout the family of fixtures are custom, tapered octagonal cased opal glass shades. The finished space is stately and elegant, sharing neoclassical design features with other music halls designed by the team, most notably the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, for which Crenshaw also provided the custom lighting package.
